Community Outreach Assistant

Donna Lambert began serving as the Community Outreach Assistant for St. Alphonsus Parish in January 2023. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She completed her degree in education at the University of New Orleans and spent 12 years teaching in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Then Donna moved to St. Tammany Parish, where her family lived for 20 years. There, she was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Mandeville and St. Jane de Chantal in Abita Springs. During that time, she enjoyed serving as a volunteer in many parent and church organizations. She cared for her parents in their later years and worked at the St. Joseph Abbey Gift Shop. Donna is the mother of two adult children who both live out of state. She has always had a love for serving others, which comes from growing up in a family that was deeply devoted to serving each other and those around them.
