Margaret Garza

Margaret Garza is a native Texan who has lived in Louisiana for 28 years, having moved here due to her husband’s job. She has been married to her husband Albert for 38 years. They have two grown children and one grandchild. Margaret has been a lifelong member of the Catholic Church, having celebrated all of her sacraments including her marriage in the Church.

Margaret has an Associate Degree in Business Administration and Information Systems. Her previous work experience includes Elementary School Secretary, Revenue Tax Analyst, and 20 years of Office Administration in a Periodontal practice.

She has always had a strong commitment to serving her parish and community. She volunteered as a catechist for several years and was also involved with the Good Samaritans Ministry in her former church parish. She also volunteered at all the schools her children attended, and she is a Life and Associate member of the Junior Auxiliary of Slidell, an organization that was founded on the principles of helping children.
